  16. I've read a few messages about the poor selection of WinSock Telnet
  17. choices..

  19. All of the ones I've tried have problems.  I've tried TrumpTel, the
  20. one with the MS VxD, Ewan...
  21.  
  22. I need one with a good VT100 emulation, that accepts hostname and port
  23. on the command line.  Help!  It doesn't have to be free, I'm willing to
  24. site license, but am only interested in a telnet client, nothing else.

  73. I have a similar problem, but my phone line does not disconnect.   Winsock
  74. appears to hang, forbidding any client software from accessing their
  75. servers.  This can happen any time, but occurs most often either immediately
  76. after I log in, or after a long delay of inactivity.

  78. I have to kill Winsock (which in turn kills any client software waiting for
  79. a time-out), close my dial-up software, and PHYSICALLY disconnect the
  80. line because I can not gain control of the modem through ANY software.

  82. I have a P.C. Logic digital 14.4/14.4 fax/modem.
